Need guidance on breaking into Project/Infrastructure Finance

Hi all, About my background . Age 32 yrs, married with 7 yrs of Banking and non bank lending experience. Have been working in risk mgmt over the past 4.3 yrs. My current role is credit risk modelling where I build IFRS 9 ECL models for retail portfolios. I have advanced analytics and statistics experience including tools like Python, SQL, Databricks.

I am interested to pivot to Infra lending/Project Finance as that is front office, involves client interaction and is core Finance. I have started to find Risk Modelling with no meetings or client touch as boring. Also long term , there is better middle east potential in infra lending.

Is my background suitable for this pivot. Should I pursue hands on courses by Synergy consulting or CFA for this pivot.

Any advice will be highly appreciated.
