UK Standard Visitor Visa (Applying from UAE): How to fill income/expenses for an unemployed housewife with no bank account?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently filling out the UK Standard Visitor Visa applications for my parents (applying from the UAE) to attend my graduation. My dad is a business owner with a very good financial profile. and he is fully sponsoring my mom.

My mom is a housewife, has no independent income, and does not have a personal bank account in the UAE. I have a few specific questions on how to fill out her application correctly without causing a refusal:

Monthly Income & Expenses:

For her income, I will put 0. But for the question "How much do you personally spend each month?", since she doesn’t have her own bank account, should I put 0? Or will putting 0 trigger an automatic issue if there is no instant explanation box? (Her actual expenses are already covered within my dad’s monthly family spending and he gives her in cash).

Physical Cash: She holds some personal cash at home, but from what I understand, UKVI doesn’t recognize physical cash outside the banking system. Should we completely omit this and reply "No" to having personal savings?

We will be uploading their marriage certificate, my dad’s business trade license, and his official 6-month e-statements showing his strong regular income to prove he covers her completely.

Thank you in advance

Do electronic bank statements (e-Statements) need a physical bank stamp for a UK Standard Visitor Visa? (Applying from UAE)

Hey everyone,

I’m currently helping my parents apply for a UK Standard Visitor Visa from the UAE to attend my sister’s graduation ceremony this July.

My dad is a business owner here, and he is fully sponsoring both himself and my mom.

We are preparing the documents, and since it’s much easier, we downloaded his official 6-month bank statements directly from the bank's mobile app as an official PDF (e-Statement). It has the bank logo, his full name, account number, and all transactions perfectly clear.

My question is: Does this same rule apply to the Standard Visitor Visa? Can we just upload the original, unstamped PDF e-statements for both my dad’s and mom’s applications? Or is it safer to go to the branch and get every page physically stamped? And also can my mom use the same statement?

Has anyone applied recently from the UAE/Gulf with just electronic PDFs without a stamp and got approved?

Would appreciate any insights. Thanks a lot!
