Dry eyes after stopping
Hi.
So I started accutane 6 ish months ago and stopped last week. Before I started accutane I was told I have clinically dry eyes and a partially thinner retina than most people have. So I would use eye drops regularly multiple times throughout the day and it was a pretty painful experience for a year or two (my ophthalmologist told me it was okay to put in eye drops when needed).
When I started accutane up until last week, I noticed my dry eyes got much better and I only needed to use eye drops at night.
Now that I’ve stopped, since a few days ago my eyes have gotten super dry again and it’s quite painful (like how it was before I started accutane) any reason for this on why my dry eyes got better on accutane? I thought it was usually the opposite.
