Built something for college students — need honest opinions

The idea is simple: instead of using different apps for placements, notes, internships, communities, interview prep, and campus discussions everything should exist in one place.

Currently testing features like:

anonymous campus posting.

internship/job boards.

placement prep.

interview experiences.

interest-based communities.

faculty feedback.

The goal is to make it useful for students across all fields, not just engineering.

Still validating what students actually find useful long-term. What’s one thing you think current college apps are missing?

Built a college super-app, looking for beta testers, anyone interested?

Hey everyone,

I've been building an app for college students for the past few months and I'm finally at a point where I want real people to use it and tell me what sucks.

It's basically a space built around things college students actually care about:

Anonymous posting with a one-click identity change.

Follow other colleges/ public channels and see their campus feed.

Job and internship board + roadmaps to your dream company.

5 daily placement prep questions in your field.

Notes marketplace, sell your handwritten notes to juniors.

Interest channels, interview experiences, gaming, anime, startups, etc.

Anonymous faculty feedback.

No ads, no spam. I just want honest feedback from real students before I launch. If you're interested in being an early tester, drop your college email in the comments or DM me. I'll reach out personally.

Thanks

Zuqro — Would You Use an Anonymous College-Only App Like This?

I’ve been building an app exclusively for verified college students (using college email verification) where students can interact anonymously and openly about college life.

Think of it like a mix of Reddit + Blind, but focused completely around colleges and engineering students.

Some things inside the app:

  1. Anonymous posting & discussions

  2. College-specific communities/channels

  3. Faculty ratings & honest reviews

  4. Teacher recommendations for next semester

  5. Internship + placement discussions

  6. Company TC/salary sharing by students

  7. Job/internship listings for students

  8. Random interest channels (coding, gaming, startups, anime, etc.)

  9. Campus updates, exam discussions, resources, and more

The main idea is to create a space where students can actually speak honestly without worrying about identity or LinkedIn-style judging.

Right now it’s still early-stage, and I genuinely want raw feedback before going deeper into building it.

So:

  1. Would you actually use something like this?

  2. What feature would make you open it daily?

  3. What would instantly make you uninstall it?

  4. How important is anonymity for college discussions?

  5. Would you be down to beta test it?

Would love brutally honest opinions from engineering students.
