Hype for Kira (from a Kira hater)
I'm going to be blunt: I hate Kira. In the lead-up to Side-B, I prayed he was just going to be a red herring. Tbf, all we saw from him was a ball being planted straight into his face, and his only concrete feat was beating Isagi when he was at his objective worst. Plus, his philosophy was so diametrically opposed to Ego's (and by proxy every other character's), which made it hard to root for him, especially since he was completely irrelevant up until now.
But, in the wake of the France match... he would absolutely be a perfect antagonist when he passes Side-B. Yes, I said WHEN. His philosophy of "teamwork makes the dream work" and, more importantly, his hate for Ego's philosophy would be the perfect way to propel the current conflict within the team. I can totally see him (or his faction) scoring 1 or 2 goals when he arrives.
Also, there's Shindo hyping up Kira after clearing the birdcage, showing that Kira wasn't ever bad. Sure, he might be wrong or just hating on Blue Lock, but that's not the feeling I got from his lines. They felt more like foreshadowing. That look on Kira's face also makes me think Kira will have a falling-out with Shindo, and since the latter is probably one of the frontrunners in Side-B, for Kira to compete, he'll have to be pretty good.
