What Song(s) should Flo perform at the Mercury Prize Ceremony??

As folks may know, the Everybody Scream album was shortlisted for this year’s Mercury Prize.

“The Mercury Prize promotes the best of UK and Irish music and the artists who produce it. This is done through the celebration of the 12 'Albums of the Year', recognising artistic achievement across an eclectic range of contemporary music genres.”

FATM is up against some stiff competition.

Nominees often perform at the award ceremony. There has not been any confirmation whether Florence + the Machine will perform in October.

For this audience (critics, execs along with general public) I hope she performs One of the Greats. The sassy version she did on tour. That would raise some eyebrows. lol

I also vote for Witch Dance, Sympathy Magic, and/or You Can Have It All. (But really I could vote for all of the songs on the album!)

What songs do you think FATM should perform from Everybody Scream at the ceremony?

“new” tattoo seen in Everybody Scream video

I’ve searched but can’t find any info about the tattoo Florence has above “too fast” on the back of her left leg. Anyone know

  1. what the symbol represents and/or
  2. if Florence has said anything about its meaning/significance?
