Hello,
My dad in an attempt to make less shade in our small yard recently cut off several branches of our cherry blossom tree( at least I think it is a cherry blossom tree) thinking that it will grow its branches back. Will the branches grow back, will the tree survive but without the cut branches, or will it end up dying. I am in the Pacific Northwest if that is relevant. Any information and tips to help it grow will help greatly. Thanks!
