I’m 24 weeks pregnant and have noticed more reoccurring tonsil stones lately. In the past I would get a couple due to poor dental hygiene caused by my depression, since then (about 3 year later) I floss always at night, sometimes in the morning, use mouthwash and gargle, brush my teeth 2 times a day at least (with an electric toothbrush) and scrape my tongue morning and night.

My previous method was to use a q-tip if I could see it. Horrible experience. I recently bought the SomethingNice water flosser but I don’t know how to keep these at bay if I can. Sometimes I won’t even be able to see or feel that I have one. My fiancé won’t tell me if my breath is stinky bc he doesn’t want to hurt my feelings so I can’t always do something about it!

I do tend to mouth breathe at night because my nose has also been so stuffy when I lay down, but anyway I have good oral hygiene and drink up to 100oz of water a day at least. Is this forever? What do I do? My dentist said I should see an ENT doctor if I’m worried about it, but they’re never big or cause any issues with swallowing or breathing. Like I said sometimes I don’t feel/see them. Pls help :(
