Following the 74th games, instead of forcing katniss to mary Peta, Snow should have done the opposite! He should have made them announce that their romance was just a ploy to get sponsors and survive the games, and then had her immediately mary Gale on live TV. What better way to undercut the revolution than showing the world that katniss was just as insincere and manipulative as the capital? Although, to answer my own question, I suppose he didn’t understand what about Katniss the districts found so inspiring.
