Some pages for my picture book, I feel like they’re missing something…

Any advice is welcome, I would like to keep it cell shaded and unblended, but I think it’s missing something that could make it more interesting.

I really like the Arts and Crafts movement and tried to implement certain aspects of it (line art and detail only being in hair, it’s something that’s more notable with just the black and white line art though)
