Definitive Daft Punk Alive 2006 / 2007 Bootleg Archive
TL;DR - This is 10+ years of my Daft Punk bootleg collection archived online. Every file featured on here is the highest quality and/or original version!
Some of you may have seen my post from August last year which featured the first part of this archive (From 1994 to 2003). This is now the second part, which features (For the most part) every known Bootleg from Daft Punk's second world tour, Alive 2006/2007.
During my hunt, and with the help of some incredble people, I've been able to make some incredibly rare and often "gatekept" files, such as:
The original FLAC recording of the Coachella set which kicked off the tour in 2006
A FLAC recording of the O2 Wireless Festival set from June 2007
A FLAC recording of the Vegoose Festival set from October 2007
As well as a handfull of Bootlegs that haven't been ripped properly until now, just to name a few.
Rather than keep these on my hard drive and risk loosing them again (Like I accidentally did last year where my MacBook decided to die on me, and I had to start all over again), Ive uploaded these for all to enjoy.
I just wanted to note as well that this archive hasn’t been compiled to be redistributed on other sites (Such as YouTube, SoundCloud, Mixcloud etc.) as most of these sets have already been uploaded there, and re-distributing these only causes harm to the archival process, like what happened in 2014 when the site called ‘Electro News’ had notoriously distributed low-quality YouTube rips of a handful of the sets, which caused a widespread of lower quality versions being passed around to the point where the only available copies were those low quality rips (Such as the case with the Cameo Theatre set).
While I wish I could have released this archive in its "complete" form, there are a handful of sets which I have had no luck finding at all! As such, Im calling out anyone and everyone who was around the forums / torrent sites / p2p networks back in the day who may have copies of the following:
Daft Punk Live @ Philipshalle (Düsseldorf) - This was apparently released as a 320kbps mp3
Daft Punk Live @ Torino Traffic Festival (Torino) - Original file details for this one are unknown
Daft Punk Live @ Dafunkfest (Japan) - Original file details for this one are unknown
