Tor Publishing Group has partnered with the game company Pandemonium Institute to create a series of novels and novellas based on the popular party game Blood on the Clocktower.
This initial three book deal was brokered by Tor executive editor Lee Harris and Chris Dwyer, COO of of the Pandemonium Institute.
According to Tor’s announcement, each book will be “written by an author who is already a devout player of Clocktower,” though no prior knowledge of the game “will be required to enjoy the books.”
The first three titles in the program are: Because the Night, “a swashbuckling escapade in the pulp tradition” by Riley Silverman, set for fall 2027; Beneath the Martyr’s Eye, “a gothic adventure” by Hugo nominee Oliver K. Langmead, slated for winter 2028; and Midnight in Ravenswood, “a shadow-soaked noir adventure by fan-favorite Clocktowerstreamer Jon Gracey,” scheduled for spring 2028.
