I'm back after more than 7 years and kinda sad about it.
So as I stated in the title I'm back after playing for last time in around 2019. I remember having the absolute strongest heroes at the time and I felt so lucky to have them after just a few tries each time. I got several of my favorites doubled and playing felt amazing.
A few hours ago I was bored and I was remembered about this game after talking with a friend and decided to re-download it.
Now, I knew my buld would be outdated and most probably weak but I never imagined it to be this usless. I played a few PVP and lost atrociously. My heroes dealt 0x2 dmg each time and got deleted by counter attacks EACH TIME. Tried some pve and couldn't kill most final bosses in medium difficulty.
The passives are so broken now and (as I saw in the latest tier list I managed to found) all the max total stat points from my heroes are considered below average at 158-162 total, which is so sad.
Powercreep? More like broken/unbalanced creep.
But what actually makes me sad is that I loved my heroes, I loved playing with them even with the ones that weren't that powerful as I imagined stories and made crushes between them. Now, not even pve is playable (I'm not counting the ultra repetitive easy stuff) with most of the heroes I have.
I'm not sure if I will keep playing as I want to keep my fond memories of the game.
I know I kinda ranted but what I want to know is what is your opinion of the game right now. When do you think it went down and when was the best time to play for you?
Ps: wtf is that energy system? What a complete boomer. In my days you played until you couldn't keep your eyes open anymore.
