Recently got my female cat, Socks, fixed last Tuesday the 21st. I’ve never seen what a cat’s stitches are supposed to look like when they’re healing and they told me it could take anywhere from 10-14 days to heal completely. It’s obviously scabbed over but the redness makes me worry. My fiancé has helped with many cats after they got spayed/neutered and he says the stitches look somewhat normal for the healing but possibly a little slow? (They had to cut a little more than usual due to her uterus being covered in cysts so she ended up getting a hysterectomy)
