I very recently bought this vice but I have no clue what it is actually used for the pads are both leather and it has a screw mechanism on the bottom for some sort of hanging it to a circular post of some kind but it doesn’t close all the way I bought it is to intend to hold knives with it cause of the leather padding but cannot as it doesn’t close all the way so any tips on that would be useful too
