Hello, I just wanted to ask people who already have experience with this: how good is the usability/acceptance of credit cards in Japan?

For example, I’ve read on some websites, including bank websites, that foreign credit cards only work really well or reliably at ATMs from 7-Eleven and FamilyMart.

I personally use a Visa credit card and a Debit Mastercard, and according to my bank they should work fine. I just wanted to ask whether I might run into any problems.
