Respect Doomguy (DOOM)

Respect Doomguy (DOOM)

> …Tear, Rip and Tear… > …Rip and tear your guts! You are huge! That means you have huge guts! > Rip and Tear!

Hailing from Earth, Flynn Taggart aka the Doomguy is a former marine who once served as a Corporal during the 2040’s. During his time as a marine, he would be known for his maverick behavior and insubordination, alongside his frequent clashes with Joshua Weems. He would take place in several operations, such as taking out an insurgent SAM site and capturing an enemy encryption device

Flynn would take place in an operation in Jan 10th 2046, where he would set up a bomb to blow up a hospital, as to blow up an insurgent munition stockpile. However, a girl would be caught in the crossfire, alongside 12 others. This would enrage Flynn, with him assaulting the lieutenant.

After this, he would be transferred to Phobos, with him being at the station when the demons would invade. He would fight through Phobos, Deimos, Earth and even Hell itself. He would continue to fight the Demons after defeating Resurrector, where at some point, he would find himself on Argent D’Nur, being taken in by the Sentinels.

During the battle against the Dreadnought, he would be enhanced by the Divinity Machine. He would then slay the Titan, and thus he would gain the title of the Doom Slayer.

This thread only focuses on his time as the Doomguy, before his enhancements with the Divinity Machine ^(Eternal). For feats done as the Slayer, see this thread

Respect the Doomslayer (DOOM)

> They are rage, brutal, without mercy. But you. You will be worse. Rip and tear, until it is done.

Originally a marine from Earth, the Doomslayer is the main protag of the Doom series. Being found by the Sentinels, he would become enhanced by the Divinity Machine. Fighting against hell, he would become feared by the Demons as he rips and tears.

Over the course of the games, he would fight against Demons and other opponents, fighting against Prince Ahzrak, the Dark Lord Davoth, the Icon of Sin, and the Makyrs.

This thread was done in combination with KalebSantos. I have elected to separate this thread into two sections, Slayer as of Dark Ages, and post Dark Age. For Doomguy, see this RT.

NOTE: It should be noted that Death Animations should be taken with a grain of salt, as they only show up in 2016 and don’t show up in any other game. However, I’m including them for scaling.

Also if a specific glory kill shows up in 2016 and Eternal, and its the same, I’ll use the 2016 version.

Also his suit is destroyed in Revelations, so that’s a factor in his dura feats ^(R). It gets reforged into his current armor ^(R)

Also putting this here, but the Slayer can take hits from a wide variety of enemies in gameplay. See the Demon Scaling section on the bottom.

Respect The Bad Guys (The Bad Guys)

> "Yeah, they're a bit eccentric but when your born us you don't exactly win many popularity contests. Do I wish people didn't see us as monsters? Sure I do, but these are the cards we've been dealt so I might as well play them."

A team of “Bad” animals who regularly do crime, the Bad Guys are a notorious group of criminals. Being well known, they would aim at the Golden Dolphin, however it would lead to their arrest. However, Mr Wolf would make a scheme by pretending to be good.

However, after getting a taste of being good, he would change sides alongside the other Bad Guys after they would defeat Marmalade. After the events of the film, the group would also face off against the Bad Girls in the sequel, and would stop them from stealing all the world's gold.

Respect Soshiro Hoshina (Kaiju No. 8)

> "Rainy days, snowy days, birthdays, new year's days... I've lived every day of my life since childhood wielding a sword. I've lived my life with blade always in my mind. That blade... the sword-slay techniques I've cultivated... this thinly cut mass of iron... if there's even the slightest thing that can be saved by any of that... then I've got no choice... but to wield my sword."

The Vice Captain of the Third Division and a member of the Hoshina family, Soshiro Hoshina is a renowned swordsman. Someone who trained from birth with the blade, Soshiro joined the Defense Force under a different division. Meeting Mina at Tachikawa Base, he would join her after several Kaiju would surface in Ome City. After the battle, he would join the Third Division as a Vice Captain.

Years later, he would be the one to bring Kafka onboard as a personal cadet (Due to his suspicions of him). He would face several Kaiju, such as Kaiju No 10, and would play a key role when Kaiju No 9 would attack the country. He would fight against several Kaiju, namely Kaiju no 9, Daikaiju of the Meireki Era, and No 12. He and the rest of the Defense Force would fight against the beasts, and together, would prevail.

Respect Miriam (Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night)

> Our power doesn't make us good or bad. Our choices do.

The childhood friend of Gebal, Miriam is the second Shardbinder alongside him. Experimented by members of the Alchemy Guild to harness demon powers, she fell into a slumber at 18 years old. For 10 years, she would sleep, until she would awaken on a galleon. There, she would learn that Gebel, her friend, had summoned the Hellhold, and thus would journey out to stop him.

Exploring the castle, Miriam would meet up with Dominique, alongside Alfred and Zangetsu. Continuing to explore, she would learn that Gebel was being controlled by Gremory. After fighting Gebel, she would free him using the Zangetsu blade, however, not before he would die and turn into crystal.

Continuing to pursue Gremory, she would defeat her. However, she would then fight Dominique, who had turned herself into a Shardbinder. She would defeat her, and would banish the castle back with the help of Johannes.

Respect Hikaru Gero (MARRIAGETOXIN)

> Well...I guess it doesn't matter who gets killed. Killing is killing. But, sometimes...I can't help but think...how great it would be to live a peaceful life with someone I love. That part of myself makes me wanna puke.

One of the two heirs to the Poison Clan, Hikaru Gero iis the main protagonist of MarriageToxin. After his grandmother would order that he or his sister needed to produce an heir, Gero would take on the duty to save his sister's active relationship (alongside maybe finding someone for himself). After saving Mei Kinosaki from execution, they would team up, with Mei helping Gero find love on the way.

He would get caught up in several situations, from helping Ushio with the fire clan to fighting against the Gun Clan alongside the Beast Clan. Gero would meet a variety of potential marriage partners and people, from Ushio to Kimie. He would also face off against a variety of people and befriend others, such as Haruko and Leo Beppu.

Specializing as a sniper/artillery specialist due to her proficiency with guns, Mina would become a captain and would recruit Soshiro Hoshina as her blade specialist, to cover her bases.

Years later, when Kaiju no 9 would attack the country, she would play a key role, fighting against both Kaiju no 9 and the Daikaiju of the Meireki Era. Together with Kafka and the rest of the Defense Force, they would manage to take down the beast.
