Mass Effect/Halo/Star Trek fan art I commissioned based on the fanfic Strange New Cycles

The art is based on the iconic Halo CE cover art, with Starfleet Shepard in the middle with Spectre Nihilus on the left and Wrex on the right. I had actually been wanting to comission art for this story for a while, and went through several ideas on what to base the art on. Since I knew that it would be ME and Star Trek stuff centered, I decided to go with this model since the background does a good job of showing off the Halo stuff, with the ring itself being prominent and the Forerunner ruins and Covenant fighters in the background.
I have the one with the story's title on it, one without and also one where she is in command red, and is a Lt. Cmdr. rather than a Lt.

"3 weeks after the devastating defeat at the Turian fortress-world of Reach, a Citadel Fleet is forced into uncharted space by the pursuing Covenant fleet, only to stumble across a mysterious object in space- a gigantic ring, and the wreckage of the Federation Starship Pillar of Autumn.
The entire galaxy is going to change."
For those interested in a few more details, its a fusion setting, so there is only one earth, the Star Trek one, and many Mass Effect and Halo characters have been made into Star Trek versions of themselves, like the part Trill Shepard starfleet officer in the art I commissioned, and the Constellation Class Pillar of Autumn you can see in the background there.
In the timeline of the 3 franchises, the story begins about a year or so before ME1, right at the start of Halo one, and in 2378 for the Star Trek stuff. That puts it concurrent with late season 7 Voyager, and roughly a year before Star Trek Nemesis.
