I might as well just quit my job

Hello fellow techs,I have been a technician for about two years now and I am currently going to school for my bachelors degree in biology, and I’m currently working at a retail pharmacy and my boss is on a huge power trip, because HR is breathing down they neck because “our numbers aren’t performing as it should”, so they getting extremely paranoid and snapping at us, but all they do in the Pharmacy is stay in a corner and chitchat with patients they don’t ever help with pick up, they hardly help with drop off, the phones and they do not help us in production. I would like to point out that, the two years I’ve worked at this retail Pharmacy over 12 people have quit but in the last three months 8 of them have left, so it does show how they treats us as technicians, lately my boss point that they is threatening all of us in the pharmacy about cutting hours and writing us up if we don’t smile enough in the pharmacy and if we don’t get any vaccines, barcodes, or surveys during our shift and not being confident when we speak to patients or colleagues,(we have some very soft spoken people, and they do not like that). Two shifts ago my boss, told me that they were not going to allow to transfer to my home town retail pharmacy because apparently I am too slow at drop off and production, (I do want to preference, they keeps me at pick up most of my shift because they always tells me you have great customer service and I want you there so I don’t have enough practice at production or drop off to be as fast as they wants me to be) and I do not have enough vaccines, surveys or barcodes. They said “I expect you to be driving from your hometown to this pharmacy every day and also I switched your schedule to full-time and not part-time anymore and I do expect you to do overtime for me when I ask.” I was honestly shocked when they said this to me. I did tell them that I was planning to do some summer course classes so I can try to graduate early from my college since I did recently lose a family member and to save money on living cost I decided to move in with them and their family but since they have left us, I’m unable to stay at this house since their family has decided to move back to our home town, which is about two hours away. Honestly, I don’t know what to do. I feel like I want to either quit and go back to fast food or even apply to a warehouse job that would actually work with my hours for school and probably pay me more than what I’m getting now. I would appreciate any advice of how to handle this issue. I do plan to speak to HR about their behavior, but I am scared that they might find out, because they always tell us that they has people on higher places in the company so I feel like trying to report them would just cause them to retaliate against me. I need advice or ideas of what I should do. This is basically me ranting and asking for advice. All who read and comment, thank you for your advice, input and your time.
