To the east lies a territory of rolling dunes, winding canyons, savanna, thorny scrub, cactus groves, oases, and hot springs.

SunClan cats tend to be independent, proud, clever, resilient, and determined. Their open territory favors speed, stamina, agility, and pursuit, making them skilled runners. They can be guarded with outsiders, but their loyalty runs deep once earned.

🌙 MoonClan

To the west lies a territory of ancient forest, flower-filled meadows, ponds, clear streams, rocky gullies, and waterfall-lined ravines.

MoonClan cats tend to be loyal, compassionate, honorable, adaptable, and confident. Their wooded territory favors strength, balance, patience, and scent-tracking, making them especially skilled at following trails through difficult terrain.

A mountain chain separates the Clans, filled with unclaimed places of its own.

✨ Beneath Their Paws

Our first major prophecy arc is approaching.

“Rain will turn to dust, and dust will turn to blood between the sun and the moon. What lies beneath will rise. Only when sun and moon cast one shadow will the earth know peace.”

🌧️ Part One — The Rain

At first, the rain is nothing unusual.

MoonClan is accustomed to extra water during newleaf, while SunClan's harsher landscape seems to flourish beneath it. Grasses green, plants bloom, streams swell, and prey becomes plentiful.

For a while, the rain feels like a blessing.

Then it doesn't stop.

Trails turn slick. The forest becomes waterlogged. SunClan's sand turns to mud, dry washes fill, and canyon paths become unstable.

The Clans adapt and wait for the clouds to break.

But they don't.

And eventually, the rain that brought life to the territories begins to threaten it.

Their home may be greener and more sheltered than SunClan's, but MoonClan is every bit as protective of what belongs to them.

⛰️ The Rivalry

The siblings who began the feud passed into legend countless moons ago.

The hatred they left behind did not.

Generation after generation has inherited the distrust between SunClan and MoonClan, and the mountains still stand between them.

Yet both Clans are proud, loyal, and devoted to the warrior code and StarClan.

For all their differences, they may have more in common than either would like to admit.

The main plot is starting soon, so this is a good time to establish your cats, friendships, rivalries, families, relationships, and loyalties before everything begins to unfold.

Circles can optionally use AnyCat, AnyClan’s AI roleplay character system.

Staff can create AI-controlled characters, customize their personalities, ages, ranks, and appearance, and control how quickly they respond.

AnyCat is completely optional and can be disabled by Circle staff.

AnyCat only roleplays characters that have been specifically assigned to it. It does not write a user's personal responses to other live roleplayers.

If another live roleplayer joins a roleplay, AnyCat can wait for its turn, or users can tell it to stop responding in that roleplay altogether.
