pale gums?
hi, i'm a 20 year old nb in the USA. a vet would be accessible and affordable if needed. i have not contacted the vet yet about this issue, but the attempt to make an appointment for june 8th has been made.
the cat is 8 weeks old, he's a boy, and he's not neutered yet.
TLDR of whats going on:
i can't tell if his gums are pale or not. last night, my kitten tried to run through the door when i was closing it. he got squished and hissed—has since been playing fine, eating fine, and going to the bathroom fine, but is sleeping a lot & i can't tell if that's just the normal amount of "kitten sleeps a lot." before the door incident and after, his breathing is also a little fast when he sleeps.
i read to check his gums but can't tell if they're pale or not. here's the best picture of his gums and tongue i could get. any help would be appreciated, i'm very anxious.
