Does passing cs exams help in securing law firm internships?

Hi,

I will be starting my first semester at a law school this year at a lower Tier 2 NLU (it just sits on the border of Tier 2 and 3). So to be honest, expecting on-campus placements there is too risky. And since I come from a middle-class family and being a first-gen in this field with no connections, securing a PPO is also difficult. So I was thinking — should I also prepare for CS exams? I don't intend to have a career in CS, but just having the exams cleared (not articleship) on my cv — can that help me in securing, or even standing out among my peers for internships?

I know good academics, like being in the top 10 of the batch, is very important for securing internships.

So just a question: if I manage to be in the top 10 of my batch along with clearing these CS exams at a slow pace, would that help in securing internships? Or is clearing CS exams just futile?
