I hit 1k subs not long, and I'm super happy I never thought I'd get this far. - 4 months of grinding was totally worth it, I had enough of seeing 3 digit numbers, but now the real question... how did I achieve this? What did I do? Most importantly,
how YOU can do it...
First of all, my channel is dedicated solely to roblox shorts only
At the start, I was uploading nonsensical content that wasn't even hitting past 10k views, all of them trapped in 1k because the engagement wasn't good enough and by looking at YouTube studio I understood what I was doing wrong...
And BOOM! a 28k views short I was super excited my first ever short that hit past the 1k-5k views jail I was super happy I kept spamming the same type of shorts that got me to 28k views but wait... they all fell into the 1k view jail... I asked myself why isn't this working?
Then something clicked! While I was watching shorts doomscrolling, I was ready to give up on this dream of building a community. I saw this short about roblox, which had over a million views. I was like, why don't I recreate that? It popped off. Maybe if I copy it, mine will also pop...
To my surprise it did I got 30k views... then I posted another one, just changed the hook and BOOM another 30k views... I kept on spamming this type of shorts BOOM 30k after another a few 20k's a few 10k's, but it was working... and here I am today now. The shorts that got me to this place aren't popping off like they used to... so now I'm in the hunt for another niche in the roblox space, and I found one, but I'm obviously going to gatekeep it because that's your JOB to find your own niche that you like...
I don't think you'd want to switch to a niche that gets many views, but you don't like making content of that type of niche. That's called Burning out
Also, another way to burn out is to mass post many shorts in one day. That's how you lose quality, so remember (Quality > quantity)
One final piece of advice for the small snails out there...
If you're going to get inspired by another short that blew up, don't make the hook the same as in the short you watched because the new 2026 youtube content creation won't allow you to get any views if you just fully copy someone's own idea you can make the same structure but don't copy the exact wordings or visuals that's how you get shadowbanned just reverse engineer it
Peace out 👍
