[OH] Benefits and leave /changing jobs
32yo F, WFH salary employee, based in Ohio.
I need some help navigating my options. I want to change jobs as I’m not finding my current employer a good fit for me. There’s a lot of reasons why I want to leave, but I don’t think it’s relevant to my main question. Here’s my issue: I want to leave and find new employment, and have the opportunity to set up interviews within the next week or two. Problem: I’m currently pregnant, due in December. What are the implications with starting a new position and needing maternity leave in less than a year of employment? I know FMLA won’t kick in until 1 year of employment. I also want to mention that having paid or unpaid leave isn’t a factor for me. My husband and I can afford for me to have unpaid leave.
