so i’ve made a couple posts here before, mainly about the unbearable amount of pain i was in. well today i managed to get in with a different dentist and he said my stitches were wayyyyy too tight and slicing through my healing tissue as well as sown through my cheek. he took them out, cleaned with iodine and i felt an instant relief🥲we’re back on track baby!!!
i got my impacted lower wisdom tooth out on tuesday, its sunday now and i still cannot get by AT ALL without painkillers. some of my dissolvable sutures came out yesterday but ive been having pain that wakes me up in the middle of the night. i dont have swelling or fever, but had to start taking more intense painkillers. im really scared of dry socket, but the dentist doesnt seem too alarmed :/ am i overthinking and it could just be jaw pain bc it took quite a bit of time to take the tooth out/yanking??
sooo i had my bottom wisdom tooth out on tuesday night at 10pm at the emergency dentist because it was causing swelling to my face due to it being impacted. it took quite some pulling to get it out, maybe 10 minutes. when the local anesthesia wore off, i was in a WORLD of pain and now on friday i can manage the pain but still taking pain meds regularly to not feel like dying. is it normal to feel this much pain??? theres no swelling on the outside at all so idk maybe im just sensitive or smtn??? any advice or kind words would be appreviated💖💖💖
