So I just found out my deodorant has stearyl alcohol in it. Is this ok?

I’ve heard about the peanut butter shots, but are there any other shots? Is there a COVID shot?

I usually get sick for 1-2 days after Covid and flu shot

I ship out in about 2 weeks and I’ve been sick for around a week now. I don’t have a fever or anything but I cannot stop coughing, sneezing and I have a runny nose.
I already went to the doctor and they told me it’s just a cold. I’ve been taking medication but it honestly doesn’t feel like it’s getting better yet.
What happens if I’m still sick on my ship date?

I have a really bad dust allergies and seasonal allergies, and I’m wondering if we’re allowed to bring our own tissues to basic? Are they going to confiscate it?
I don’t know why but I don’t see anyone here packing tissues to bmt.

I’m pretty shy and anxious and my biggest worries aren’t really the physical part but the social/confidence aspect of bmt. I have a hard time speaking up and standing up for myself sometimes and I’m wondering how much a personality like that affects your experience at BMT and in the military in general.

4. Will they throw away Korean skin care (they’re all in Korean, no English.)

5. Wipes without alcohol in them (it’s also in Korean, so I don’t know if they allow it even if I explain that they don’t have alcohol in them).

6. Should I bring contact lens for graduation (with an eye drop)

7. Can I bring a muscle pain relief patch? It’s a medicated patch.

8. Anything you guys recommend packing that’s not on the official site?

9. I work in Korea and fly from there so a lot of the stuff I bring is not in English. Would that be an issue?

I don’t see socks on the official packing list. Are they given to us

The official site says no smart watches allowed other than cell phone but I want to use them at tech school. If I bring my Apple Watch to basic, can I store it in a locker ?

ay this might sound like a dumb question but I’ve gotten so used to always having my phone that I genuinely can’t imagine what people do during downtime at basic 🫩
What do people usually do during free time, like do we mostly talk, write letters, study, sleep, clean, ? I Cant imagine what daily life is like when we’re disconnected from everything for months.
