La Ciotat - worth a day trip?
My family usually flies into Paris, takes the train to stay in Marseille for a week. Then a few days in Cassis before going back to Paris for a week. Is La Ciotat worth a day trip? Aix- en-Provence might be nice, but we won't be there until August 1st, so maybe too late for the lavender blossoms. Any other suggestions?
We've always just used trains, public transportation and an Uber a couple times to get around. However, I wouldn't be 100% against renting a car for a few days to enjoy some other locations.
TIA
