Domestic abuse reports
Hi everyone,
I’m Liverpool based and currently running a Merseyside pilot for The Real Count, a soon to be national anonymous domestic abuse data platform focused on the abuse that never makes it into official statistics.
A huge amount of domestic abuse is never formally reported to police or services, which means large parts of the reality never get measured properly in the first place.
The platform is designed to collect anonymous submissions around unreported domestic abuse, coercive control and barriers to reporting so patterns can actually be identified through data instead of assumptions.
No names.
No contact details.
No referrals.
No safeguarding triggers from submissions.
The aim is to build a clearer picture of what people across Merseyside are actually experiencing, including the incidents and patterns that often stay invisible.
The pilot is already being shared across some local organisations and professionals, but public engagement matters too because the data is only as strong as the participation behind it.
It takes 90 seconds, please share it!

The Real Count UK is ICO registered and the pilot does not collect identifying information such as names, addresses or contact details. The platform is not connected to police, social services or immigration enforcement and submissions do not trigger referrals or safeguarding actions.
