My baby diagnosed with heart and kidney disease

I just got home from vacation yesterday and my cat, Chihiro was acting really strange and it was very worrisome. Rushed her to the vet and the overnight vet suspected heart failure and signs of kidney failure. He said it is not good since diuretics are usually prescribed for heart failure, but she needs fluids for her kidneys. She is little over 4 years old and has had a pretty clean bill of health her whole life.

They did an ultrasound today and suspicions were confirmed and the vet today told me the same thing and that she might only have 1-2 months to live. I've heard that cats can still live a long happy life with HCM/CHF but not sure if anyone else has had their cat have that and kidney failure. The vet said it's very rare and he's actually not seen this before in a cat.

Has anyone had any experience of both of these in their cats and was it successful? I don't want her to suffer if the treatments don't work because the vet said it would not be a peaceful death. He didn't want to give euthanasia as an option, but he did that's the other solution. I'm just at a loss right now and I just don't know what to do. She's my baby and my whole world
