I don’t realize how early places book. my partner and I are now planning Alta Via 2 leaving from Brixen. I’m trying to copy the itinerary from a third party site that books the Refugios for you. All but the first stop Refugio Genova, are available. we are planning on continuing to Refugio Puez next. Does anyone have suggestions for an alternative lodging to Replace R. Genova? My partner is a semi-professional climber, however my experience is limited to the Inca Trail and New Zealand’s Sealy Tarns track near Mt. Cook. I’m willing to do one of the easier Via Ferratas, but I probably shouldn’t go somewhere that will require me to go on a difficult one. thank you.
