Lately, I haven’t really felt like riding my big bikes. I’ve noticed that many newer riders—and even some people I’ve talked to recently—seem more focused on image than actual skill.
No hate toward Kawasaki—I’ve owned a 1000cc Kawasaki before—but the number of ZX-6Rs on the road right now is crazy. It feels like the community is becoming more about showing off rather than improving as riders.
Then I see clips on IG and TikTok of CFMOTO or sportbike riders crashing, and it doesn’t help the perception. On top of that, there are these “cult-like” riding groups online that just bring more noise into the community.
I’m curious to hear other people’s perspectives. Right now, it feels like the barrier to entry is getting lower, and with that, the overall quality of the community is declining.
