Here are some animals I finished!

Kermit was freehanded, mostly. The pattern I was using was 1)out of order and 2)in Spanish so I mostly based the head/eyeballs off of the pattern (I think I accidentally added an extra row or two to the head) and the rest of the body was freehanded. He turned out a little derpy but I still love him.

I made the elephant next and it took a lot longer than I thought it would, but I love how it turned out and I fell in love with the African flower motif. I followed along with Sookie House’s YouTube series of her making an elephant. My favorite part was crocheting all of the shapes together.

Lastly was the bird! I saw someone on Pinterest make one but I didn’t want to buy the pattern, so I made the main African flower shapes with a little bit of guesswork and freehanded the details like the beak and the tail. The tail isn’t great but I still think he turned out cute :)
