I had a dream where everything felt strangely familiar even though I had never seen the place before
Last night I had one of those dreams that stayed in my head long after waking up. In the dream I was walking through a quiet town at sunset and everything felt deeply familiar, like I had been there many times before, but at the same time I knew it wasn’t a real place I had ever visited.
What felt strange was how detailed everything looked. The streets, buildings, even the atmosphere felt consistent the entire time instead of changing randomly like most dreams usually do for me.
There wasn’t anything scary or dramatic happening, but the feeling of recognition throughout the dream was strong enough that it kept bothering me after I woke up.
I’m curious if anyone else experiences dreams where completely unfamiliar places somehow feel emotionally familiar while you’re inside them.
