i’m looking at a one way LA to Vegas trip for October 18 or 19, and while comparing fares i ended up reading more about empty leg flights.

i understand they are one way, the timing can move around, and the flight depends on someone else’s charter still happening.

What i can’t tell is the less obvious downside once you compare it to just booking a cheap commercial flight or even first class. thanks
