Anyone here heard of Venning Advisors? They seem to be buying up a lot of firms that the partners are retiring from along the east coast. My tax guy was bought by them last year and they have been absolutely terrible. They have tons of one star reviews if you look into them online. Is it common practice for smaller firms to be bought out like this and have a rough transition? I think I may have to switch preparers.
