Intern Advice
Hello,
I wanted to get some advice from you guys as I’m in a slight pickle.
So for context, I have three interviews for a summer 2026 internship, one is a large CPG, other is a manufacturer of control systems, third is also a manufacturer.
Now I have an offer for the first one, and they gave me a 2 day deadline to decide(Thursday). What I really want is the second internship, but the interview for that is on Friday (day after deadline), and third is also on a Friday.
So do I reach out to the HR of the second company to see whether they can interview me earlier, or do I accept the offer for the first company and then if the second one works out, back out of the first offer. I’d feel bad doing that though, and I know I may probably get blacklisted from that company in the future.
