Gen Z vs Boomers as a runner
Recently I've taken up running as a hobby and run at a public park. While I understand that a public park is open to all and I'm definitely not complaining, one particular thing I've noticed is that while I'm running, people in a younger age group who are also walking on the same path tend to give way while I'm running and are generally more considerate, while older individuals (40 plus) simply see me coming, and keep walking without caring at all, and I'll have to do that little running on the same spot till some space opens up.
This also applies when theyre coming from the opposite side, where they see me running, and blatantly just wait and see if I'm moving away.
Of course there are also younger people who dont move and older individuals who are considerate as well, but this is just a general observation.
Has anyone observed something similar?
