Scrums.
I have notice that in some games a lot of players don't do much in scrums or anything when it comes to be confronting a player who takes a penalty on their teammate including their goalie. Sometimes they get close but it ends there.
Does not being allowed to fight at any level of women's hockey have an influence on confrontations like that in general?
Do you think that it is more the fact that people have an expectations of hockey players to act a certain way in reaction to something happening to their goalie or teammates but most PWHL players would rather have the referees do their jobs than get physically confrontation?
Does anyone see these interactions increasing, decreasing or staying the same in the future? Would fans prefer that they just let the referees deal with it or that they try and stand up for teammates? I know a lot of PWHL fans don't like the violent aspect of hockey or hockey being too physical.
