My husband might be job hunting soon due to some workplace politics, and hoping to get some help from random Internet strangers.
Right now he’s in a blue-collar job making about $40/hr, but he works 50–60+ hours a week, plus on-call twice a week and every other weekend. Biggest goal is getting off the on-call schedule and into something with more consistent hours. With that being said he doesn’t mind working long days he just doesn’t want to go home and get called back out in the middle of the night anymore.
He’d be open to a pay cut for better work/life balance.
He has -
His CDL
Army background
Management experience
Bachelor’s in Computer Science (so office jobs could be a possibility)
Just hoping to get some feedback on any companies that might be worth exploring? Thanks!!
