Umbilical hernia repair without mesh under MAC

Hello everyone! I’m super anxious about my surgery. I was told I have an umbilical hernia about a year & a half ago. After finally getting cleared by endo, I’ll be having the surgery done (unbiblical hernia repair w/out mesh under Mac). I’m just curious about everyone’s individual experiences such as recovery time, down time, even before and after pictures. Up until recently, the pain was pretty manageable but now, it’s just extremely bothersome. I did read that some people regretted getting it done. For context, I’m a 33 year old female & had 3 c-sections in the past. The recovery process with the last 2 c-sections were not nearly as bad as the first. So I’m kind of wondering if I should anticipate that level of pain.

thanks so much!
