Everyone that thinks Fifa rankings are gospel and that beating Paraguay is no big deal needs to watch the Swiss vs Qatar game those 2 teams are even more different in the Fifa Rankings than the US and Paraguay and yet they tied. That could’ve been us. unable to truly capitalize on our dominance and being unable to shut the door on an inferior team. That happens all the time in the World cup. Dismissing the most dominant World Cup win in USMNT history is super dumb. There’s no such thing as an easy game.
