PS Denied?
I’m going on 5 weeks after the home visit. It was a visit to renew IHSS services and for my PS petition. About 3 weeks later after the visit, I received an NOA telling me no new hours were added or taken. So I have that help at least.
In that NOA nothing about PS was mentioned. Does that mean it was denied? IDK how the process works. Has anyone been in this situation? Am I supposed to receive an NOA for PS separately? On average, how long after the home visit do we get an NOA for PS?
I’ve tried calling my social worker and voicemail box is full. I left emails to her via duty worker and no response. Talked to a supervisor and that was a worse let down. No help at all, but with attitude and condescension. Should I wait a bit longer before I take a day off from work to investigate in person at their offices?
