Hi! Made an account just to make this post. I'm in an advanced lithography course and I want to make prints on irregularly shaped stones (notably broken pieces of larger stones) including one that is scalpel shaped and two weird rectangles. My professor said I could try it out, so I've been researching examples of people printing on non-rectangular stones, but I haven't been having an easy time finding examples. I was wondering if anyone here had advice on how to effectively print on my weirdly shaped stones without breaking the press or the stone. I've considered wood and towels, but I haven't gone as far as printing anything yet. I want the composition to be the shape of the stones like the prints in these Instagram posts

I also have pictures of the contours I made of the stones so you can get an idea of the shapes.

I want to know if it's possible to make some kind of support so I can print them this way, I can't risk damaging the press since it's school property, and I'd feel bad.

I'd super appreciate any help I can get! thank you!
