I’m 5 and a half months post open myomectomy. My surgeon removed 16 fibroids in total. The largest 3 were around 8cm. Recovery sucked, specifically the tenderness to my uterus with any changes in pressure. But it was mostly without complication. However 5 months later, I’m still having pain. Not at my incision. That’s fine. But like a deep uterine pain, with every cough or sneeze, big bumps in the road, and for sure with any increased abdominal pressure like gas or bowel movements. Sometimes even when my bladder is full. I feel like 5 almost 6 months post op, I shouldn’t be continuing to have this pain. Any experiences with this?
