UK Irish taxation on UK property rental income

Ok I have been reading and have some Knowlege but as you know every case is different. I would greatly appreciate some guidance on this before I meet my accountant formally.

  1. I live in Ireland working and income is 100K plus per year gross , so higher band Irish taxation. I was born outside Europe and so was my Dad. I have Irish citizenship and own house where I am living in personally. I believe this gives me a non-domecilled Irish resident ? right.

  2. I am hoping to buy a property in the UK for rental income. I under I will pay 20% tax on UK rental income being a non resident after the 12% tax free threshold. If Money is not remitted to Ireland and stays in my Uk bank account.

Do I have to declare and pay tax to Irish revenue on the UK rental income ? Or Just the 20% to HMRC and money stays in UK band account ?

Thanks in advance
