Company deleted job posting from LinkedIn and website after 3 weeks – what does it mean?

I’ve been tracking a job application that was live for about three weeks. Today, I noticed that the company has removed the job posting from both their official website and LinkedIn.

Does anyone have insight into why a company would pull a listing down while it’s still relatively "fresh"? Does this usually mean they have already found a candidate, or could it indicate something else, like a change in hiring plans or a budget freeze?

I’d appreciate hearing about your experiences or if anyone has dealt with this before. Thanks!

Do "Forage" (Virtual Internship) certificates actually matter for junior roles?

I recently finished my Master’s in Finance and I’m currently actively looking for my first full-time role (specifically targeting Audit and Controlling). Since I don’t have any formal work experience yet, I decided to complete a few "Job Simulation" programs on the Forage platform, specifically for some of the Big Four firms.

I did these simulations because I wanted to get a sense of what the day-to-day tasks actually look like in audit and to get familiar with their workflows. However, I’m constantly debating whether I should list these on my LinkedIn and in my CV.

I’m worried that it might come across as "cringe" or that recruiters might not see any real value in it, since I know it’s not the same as a real internship.

Do any of you in HR or Finance/Audit actually pay attention to these certificates when screening junior CVs?

Has a "job search" LinkedIn post ever actually landed anyone an interview or a job?

when I apply for jobs through standard channels, I often receive either automated rejection emails or no response at all.

Has anyone here, or anyone you know, actually landed an interview or a job after posting something on linkedin?

In our local business culture, do you think this comes across as professional, or does it look "desperate"?

What day is best for post?

Any advice is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

What does it mean when a company removes all LinkedIn job postings but keeps them on their corporate website?

I noticed a situation where job postings had been lingering on LinkedIn for months (appearing grey/inactive), and then, overnight, all of them were removed—both city. At the same time, those exact same postings remain active on the company's official website.

.

Does this typically mean the company has decided to definitively close the application window and is starting to invite candidates for interviews?

Any advice or insight is appreciated!

How long does big four usually take to respond after an internship application?

Hi everyone,

I recently applied for an internship at KPMG, and I was wondering what their typical response timeline is for candidates. Also, I noticed that the job posting has been active for five months—does this usually mean they are still actively recruiting, or is it just an evergreen ad?

Additionally, I’m curious if June is a standard time for them to bring on new interns, or if they operate on a different hiring cycle.

Any insights or personal experiences with their hiring process would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in adva
