I‘m planning to travel through Kyrgyzstan for 2 weeks but to be honest I‘m a bit surprised about the high prices for hotels / apartments. I don’t like hostels at all so this is no option for me. I‘ve been a lot of times in Georgia and also Azerbaijan and experienced accommodations with higher standard for lower prices. Same for China. Even in tourist places like Yunnan province.

Did I miss something, do I maybe use the wrong website (booking, airbnb, trip) oder why are the prices so high?
