Anyone in Australia? Intermittent PT positional
I’ve had intermittent PT usually after I’ve driven for a long time and I get out the car. If I go into a shop I can hear a definitive whoosh whoosh whoosh that I have to determine if it’s in my head or if the shop generators are making the noise. It always subsides.
I also get it lying in certain positions then if I move it goes away.
I also snore 😴.
My feeling is that this came on after I had covid in 2023 and was completely blocked for 3 days. I couldn’t breathe in or out of my nose.
So I’ve had a full blood panel and a CT head with contrast.
After a 10 month wait in the public system I saw the ENT yesterday although saw a surgical junior registrar.
He said all my tests appeared normal and that they don’t find the cause in 30% of cases. He also weirdly listened to my brain with his stethoscope…my hearing test was also normal.
He thankfully went to ask the actual ENT what to do next and she is sending me for an MRV. If that is clear I’m being discharged.
Feeling v disappointed.
