Need help with disassembly and possibly id of this rotary tabel
Recently acquired this rotary table together with a matching mag chuck.
It runs surprisingly well given its outer appearance. What seems like black paint at first glance is more like decades of baked on gunk.
The four bigger hole on top are for mounting the mag chuck, the smaller one are threaded. The center shaft is hollow. There was an oil seal on the bottom of it which I removed. The four screw holes at the bottom were already empty.
I tried using a press and some carefull hammering but the only movement I can get is a little wiggle when wedging a screwdriver between the top and bottom.
I might just leave it as is, clean it up with my sand blaster and hope I can prevent any grains from finding their way inside.
