Not enough fetal DNA - NIPT
We got our NIPT results back today - they weren’t able to give us any results due to there not being enough fetal DNA in the sample.
Frustrated but I know this is something that can happen and isn’t incredibly uncommon.
We had our NT ultrasound today about an hour after the call from the NIPT provider and all looks great so that’s reassured me in the meantime but just wondering if anyone else had a similar result or experienced this in the past?
They recommended we wait 2-3 weeks and then try the test again, originally we did the test at 10 weeks 2 days, now at 11 weeks 6 days so it would be week 14/15 by the time they recommended redoing it and week 16/17 by the time we get the results…
Should I push to redo it next week or is that too soon?
